Please refer back to our analysis on the Giants from the first game of this series:

We are going to ride the hotter team at phenomenal +165 plus-value tonight. The San Francisco Giants head into the second half of the season playing the best baseball of their season, going 18-14 (56.25%) since June 1. This includes a 7-3 (70%) stretch in their last 10 games, and a red-hot 5-1 (83.3%) stretch in their last 6 games heading into the break. They have found an offensive surge scoring 61 runs over their last 10 games (6.1/game). The Giants have been a surplus team on the season netting bettors +1.47 units, with all of their production coming on the road (+5.32 units). Milwaukee, meanwhile, has been disappointing for bettors yet they continue to receive significant -VIG and overwhelming public support with them once again being an extremely popular selection tonight among the general public. The Brewers have been a deficit -3.53 unit team and rank 10th in the NL money standings. June and July have been ugly for the Brewers. They are 8-15 (34.7%) since June 12th, 4-6 (40%) in their last 10 games, and 2-5 (28.5%) in their last 7 games. In their last 10 games, Milwaukee is ranked 27th in scoring with just 33 runs (3.3/game). This is a staggering -32 runs less than the Giants who rank 2nd in scoring in the same span. The Brewers have star power in Christian Yelich and are tabbed as a dangerous offensive team, but in reality they rank 15-20th in all major predictive offensive categories and head into this game amidst the worst regression of their season. Aside from the same last name, both Andersons have been extremely similar this season with their metrics. However, the Giants have been more successful with Shaun Anderson on the mound winning 60% of his starts (6-4). He has pitched 5+ innings in all 10 of his starts allowing 3 runs or less in 8 starts and has yet to allow more than 4 earned runs, giving the Giants a chance to win in every start. Meanwhile the Brewers have had sub-par results with Chase Anderson winning just 47% (8-9) of his starts. While everyone is waiting for the Brewers to fulfill their potential and are getting rinsed on severe -VIG, we see a completely mediocre team who has been trending in the wrong direction. A red-hot Giants squad is a great investment at +165 tonight."

We cashed in the first game of this series, and San Francisco was walked off in the bottom of the 9th in an extremely close game 2 last night. The Giants remain the more consistent team as of late with the more potent offense and we are confident in supporting them with tremendously generous plus value once again in Game 3. Both pitchers are unpredictable and are having sub-par seasons. The Giants offense remains one of the hottest in the MLB. Milwaukee continues to be a mediocre team receiving inflated -VIG because of popular general public betting support and we will continue fading these discrepant lines.
