MLB PICKS JUNE 21 - ST LOUIS CARDINALS VS LA ANGELS PICK & ANALYSIS

June 21, 2019

MLB EXPERT PICKS - FULL ANALYSIS ATTACHED

ST. LOUIS CARDINALS MONEYLINE: 2 UNITS (-105)

Michael Wacha's metrics don't inspire the upmost confidence, but this is actually a Griffin Canning fade who is showing signs of regression we are looking to capitalize on. Canning has impressive season-long metrics, but the Angels have lost 4 consecutive games he has started and we have noticed regressions in the 23-year-old rookie who has never pitched a full MLB season's underlying metrics. This is also a public fade as up to 70% of the general public are supporting the Angels as a road dog, where they are a deficit team. The Angels are a streaky team and just dropped one in extra innings to the lowly Blue Jays and flight plans show they didn't arrive into St. Louis until 3 in the morning. The Angels have played 8 consecutive games, all on the road, with St. Louis being their 3rd different city and 3rd different timezone (including their own Pacific when they departed on June 11th). A sleepy offensive performance is in store for the Angels and we are supporting the Cardinals at home where they have turned bettors a +4 unit return this season.
